Second day in Bangalore and on campus and i pretty much get a feel of how things are gonna shape up in the next 2 years [:)]
To start with - the most striking aspect of the city is its unpredictable weather with serious fluctuations in the temperature and rains can come anytime anywhere.
Now coming to the campus....the majestic entrance itself speaks of the legacy beyond it. Enter the gates and the canvas is painted green and it remains unchanged even after entering the room. Clean roads marked in white are the only ones to be seen in the green background.. and then slowly the picture unfolds itself...1 wall then 1 building and finally everything culminates into a huge concrete labyrinth i.e. the hostel. It hardly takes 5 to 10 minutes to lose track of the way you came from. However, i believe thats true for all the new place we set to explore, we lose track and then find the way again (much similar to life :) what say!!!). Slowly you start noticing the finer points...different wings in the hostels, rooms in basement, small playgrounds within the wings for night sports...all forebading an interactive and lively atmosphere. Althought the architecture is similar to hostels elsewhere but the whole design makes the building look new and different (finally !!! the Civil engineer speaks :)).
Will add a lot about the exprience thats IIM B ....after an academic break [;)]
